b) Project Management Experience -
1. Managed a team of 25 people at Infosys as an Offshore Project lead (Designation: Programmer Analyst) for the SMSDV Project. 25 people included 3 Team leads & their respective teams. Each team was from a diverse technology, (Coldfusion, JAVA and Oracle DBA respectively). There was no Project Manager at offshore. I used to report directly to the Senior Project manager.
2. Scaled this project from scratch to a CMMi Level-5 rating in just two audits with some of the toughest auditors.
3. Initially the team size was just 6 people, based on good delivery coupled with innovative suggestions; we were able to raise it till strength of 25 in 8 months.
4. Apart from this I have managed Teams at Verizon (Infosys) & Ideas (IBM) and I have repeatedly demonstrated team scaling up while winning client appreciation & adding value.
c) Domain Knowledge, Business Process Excellence & Client Value Add –
1. Good Knowledge about the Telecom domain, including OSS/BSS, eTOM models, SID, BCM, SOA, SOMA etc.
2. Added value to Sprint by suggesting changes that helped them save 5 million USD annually. Both Sprint VPs & IBM management have verified the savings & was presented as a case study of one of the value-adds IBM did for Sprint.

3. Good Understanding of CMMi Processes, including DP analysis, fishbone cause-effect analysis, Configuration management activities, change management activities, Risk analysis activities etc. Even understand the PCMMi Model, although didn’t get a chance to implement it.

1. I am also involved in giveback activities, where in professionally I have mentored people within IBM & guide them in areas where I can assist with. I have mentored 12 people within IBM. (Mentoring regarding career progression as well as Architects Profession)
2. I was also a part of On-Demand Community @ IBM where-in we go to municipal schools where IBM has contributed PC infrastructure & see how kids are being benefited. Sometimes we also teach them on computer operation & stuff.
